Welcome to the Lanesboro Borough website. You will find here information for residents, visitors and anyone interested in our town. The borough is located at the northern edge of the Endless Mountains in northeastern Pennsylvania. Our most notable point of interest is the Starrucca Viaduct, built in 1848 for the Erie Railroad.

Upcoming Events

The Lanesboro Council meeting will be held on May 5th at 7:00. It will be a teleconference meeting to maintain compliance with the Governors directive to stay at home. The call in number is (347} 966-7882. When prompted, enter your access code: 962 751 132#. Dan Boughton, council President, will announce the start and end of the public comment period. The meeting will begin at 7 PM

Community Center Rental

Until the government allows for mass gatherings of over 125 people (community center capacity) all rentals and meetings need to be cancelled. All upcoming rentals can be rescheduled on a first on the list first choice method. Or a refund can be issued.
